ReliefRidge Customer Reviews
You will find religion
It’s that good. Lay on it every day for 10-15 minutes. Helps with posture, alignment, stretching, and slightly massaging.
stretch at fraction of the cost
This has been an answer to my prayers. When I need to release the stress and tension from my body this is my go to tool. Stretches my spine and help to circulate the blood in my back and neck relieving daily stress. I was a little sore at first but believe me you’ll get adjusted to it. Worth every cent.
It WORKS
I don’t do reviews. I have neck and lower back pain. I workout 5 days a week and I’m 52 so I hurt! But this thing is my sidekick. I flip it around and put the bigger side in my glutes. I sit with it while I watch tv. I daily lay on it for 10 min. It really is one of my fav purchase. I have the muscle gun, neck massager, full body massager and a tens pro unit which all are great. But this is quick and easy fix. Try it!!
Very relaxing
I’ve been sick with really sore and cramped muscles in my neck and shoulders. This little device has helped me relax and massage my trapezius and I use it every day even while laying in bed. Recommend!
Helps with Untensing
I like this for gradual release of tension. You have to be really gentle with yourself getting on and off it. Sometimes when I get up too fast, I feel twinges. Other than that, gentle breathing with the pressure points helps my neck and shoulders unclench a lot!
Neck Support
I used ReliefRidge almost every day, I use it in the car while driving for neck support actually! My drive to and from used to be a struggle but not anymore! Thanks!!!
Amazing
I have chronic cervical and thoracic pain. Muscles are always sore. This helps with back pain, AND headache pain. I’m honestly shocked at how much it helps in such a short time. If you’re in pain it’s definitely worth trying!
Laying helps my neck and shoulder.
I bought ReliefRidge due to stiffness of my neck and shoulder. Setting it up on my bed and laying on it for a few minute, it keeps me relax for a good night rest. Normally without it, I would feel restless due to the irritating stiffness feeling of my neck.
Surprisingly Useful
I was surprised to find out how much this actually improves my neck and back issues. It does work best on a hard surface so down on the floor it goes. (I do use it on the carpet so the rest of my body doesn’t suffer). I generally lay on it about 10-15 minutes and I find when I miss a session I pay for it later. It really eases the kinks after sitting at my desk for hours and even if I’m not, I miss it when I don’t use it. The knobs hit all the important spots and I can feel all the tension seeping away. I did not notice any real benefits for about the first week but once I learned to relax into it and some of those super sore spots released I found it worked a lot better. Definitely a winner!
and a thumbs up!
Easy to use. Read instructions first to familiarize yourself with what you should and should not feel using it.It’s so simple and works immediately. I use it 10 -15 minutes at a time twice daily. I have tried everything to relieve my neck pain and horrific headaches. I wanted to find relief without drugs. I feel so good after using it. Nothing will cure my neck but this gives me the instant relief I have been looking for. I am in control of treating my neck for once in a very longtime. I use other simple items in my treatment also but the addition of this device is a life changer!
Great stretch and pain relief
I have been using the ReliefRidge for a short period of time and I am impressed. I have not read the instructions on the use but I have been using this item in ways that works for me. I start with putting the neck part a few inches below my neck and lay there for a bit. I then inch up to proper neck alignment and let it stretch. While in this position I bring my knees to my chest and lie there. I then spread my knees to get a stretch in my hips.I HIGHLY recommend flipping the ReliefRidge around and putting your butt/hips on the neck part. I repeat the first two steps with the resting and stretching. This gives you such a good stretch and feels amazing. The knobs hit just the right pressure points for me and the lift and stretching feels great. With the ReliefRidge in the same position I then roll on it on my side and lie there to have the knobs hit my pressure points. I then turn and repeat in the other side.I use the ReliefRidge along with the OPTP Pelvic Rocker Core Trainer twice a day and let me tell you it has helped me a ton. I work on average between 10 to 12 hours a day delivering packages. I am in and out of a truck between 100-200 times a day depending on the route and I lift and move heavy packages throughout the day. Needless to say between my job and an old back injury my lower back hurts at the end of the day.I start and end my day using both these items together and they have helped me tremendously! The ReliefRidge has been an amazing tool to help alleviate my pain. I cannot say enough good things about this product except I highly recommend trying it. It may not work for everyone but it has helped me.
Great! But, use as instructed!
I have pretty persistent moderate to severe neck pain from a car accident a couple of years ago and I have tried countless different methods to lessen it, am pleasantly surprised with this monstrous-looking device. I honestly took a while to actually give this a proper shot, as upon receiving it, I was intimidated; the composition is not soft at all, it is very high density and rubbery, and it looked like something out of a horror film. I took the advice of another reviewer here and actually paid attention to the instructions (which I’m hesitant to admit I never do). I was glad I did, because you have to work you’re way up to using this for a longer period of time, or it will hurt more the following day or so. It does seem to alleviate some of my muscle pain and tension in my neck, base of my head, and my shoulders and mid-back, if used semi-regularly. I even shifted it around and used it on my lower back and it gave it a good stretch and loosened the muscles up. Overall it is a lot more effective than some of the fabric braces I have tried and cervical pillows (etc.), for the price it is a solid value, and I don’t see it deteriorating in any way, shape, or form any time soon lol. It is a daunting-looking item, but I would recommend giving it a shot – just follow the instructions!
Very good!
I really like this product. It’s lightweight and easy to use. The foam is much softer than others so it stays very comfortable for a lot longer and doesn’t get painful. There are no big neck bumps but a wonderful large cervical curve. I prefer this as it gives your neck a full stretch and it’s fully supported. The lobster looking one doesn’t give full neck support and the big bumps make my neck go numb. It’s a lot cheaper than other products too. I really like this product and recommend it.
This works great when used for short intervals
The plastic is very firm, but has enough give to be comfortable. The bump size are just right and apply pressure at the right spots. What I like is that I can relax in it without any tension in the neck or head. My pillows are too soft to do that. But I only do it for a few minutes to get some relief.Would recommend if you have stiff neck from siting too long.
I lay on the shoulder relaxer for 10 minutes and my terrible tension headache is gone!
The nubs are not as hard as a few others I have tried which makes it a bit more comfortable.
Unexpected Best Buy of the year.
At nearly $40 dollars, and the split reviews, this was one of the biggest gambles I’ve made on a purchase so far this year- but I am glad I did.I have both Osteo and Rheumatoid arthritis, spinal stenosis, cervical spondylosis, bone spurs, Fibromyalgia, Hypermobile EDS, as well as polyneuropathy – which all play into my neck and back pains/strains and spasms. I have a near-constant pain in my rhomboid muscle (just between my shoulder blade and spine) that I can never get rid of (despite my SO never giving up on trying to rub it out) & the first time I used this traction mat, I was able to apply the right pressure to the right spot, WHILE aligning my neck and back.I place a padded yoga mat, at the foot of my chase lounger, with a low back/lumbar pillow on the yoga mat. Sit on the floor and place my feet up (elevated) onto the lounger, hold this traction mat in place behind my neck, and slowly lean back until I’m laying flat over the lumbar pillow with the traction mat aligned correctly along my upper back, spine and neck. After a minute or so of letting my muscles “settle” around the massage nodules, I hold my palms face up, at shoulder height and “wax-on, wax-off” slow circles, to gently need the rhombus and trapezius muscled (a stretch shown to me by my masseuse). Then slowly, fully extend my arms out laterally, bring my right arm all the way to the left side, then back. Repeat with the left arm. Then cross both arms over my chest and slowly til my shoulders forward. back and side to side. A stretch shown to me by my chiropractor. This also helped me greatly in preventing an ocular migraine. I get severe, recurring and utterly debilitating ocular migraines that no medication has been able to help with (& I’ve tried them all, even up to Botox for migraines). I had one start up a few days after getting this traction mat, laid it out, and rubbed the “knots” on the back of my head all over the massage nodules, back and forth over and over for what I can only honestly refer to as the best migraine relief I have yet to find. It allowed me to be pain-free enough to fall asleep and hide from the remnants of the migraine- thus escaping the light/sound sensitivity that would have inevitably followed.Would definitely recommend. One of the best-buys I’ve made this year. Thank you for such a simple. yet amazingly effective product.
Very relaxing.
Thought I’d give this a try, as my wife suffers from neck pains and she loves it! Once I had wrestled it back from her, I tried it, and it puts your back and neck into the correct posture after a day in front of the keyboard – very relaxing. It is very well made and looks like it will last for many years, so excellent value for money too.
Gives a nice stretch
Nice for stretching spine out after a long day. Spend a few minutes at the end of each day stretching a readjusting your spine. Hard but pliable enough to not cause discomfort. Currently priced at £29.99 which is reasonable for the quality.
Neck and Shoulder Relaxer
Brilliant neck and shoulder relaxer cushion! SERIOUSLY!!!… It’s helped ease many pains, whether I’m sat against it or laying on it, the knobs on it are hard enough to sink into my back, placing pressure on those pressure points in my shoulders and back while supporting my neck well, but they’re not too hard; I get to decide how much pressure to use by how much I lean into it. So it’s very easy to use, it’s lightweight, easy to hold and carry, too. I just wish it had its own storage case. Overall, I’m very happy with it.
Preventative migraine relief
This feels like about the sturdiness of our basic black foam roller; nothing very soft about it. I get migraines mainly from tension headaches. Using this with the provided exercises (like stretching my arms above my head) really seems to dig into my neck and spine and help lesson the frequency of my headaches. It is a good tool to have in the toolbox for preventative relief from migraines! My one negative is that it drops off completely after the last vertebrae foam portion, so when using it you sort of feel where the support ends. I might put a folded blanket there to support my lower back when using this.
Stretches upper back, shoulders and neck well.
At first it is hard to get this in the right place on your body. Once you use it a few times, it is pretty easy to find the correct spot. It does a good job of stretching my upper back, shoulders and neck. When my neck starts hurting, I pull this out and it helps my pain quite a bit. I would recommend this to anyone.
Relieves built up stress and tension in muscles
I love this device. I’ve tried out three other, smaller, neck stretching tools and they’ve given me a decent stretch – but this is way different.I love that it has nodes all along the upper back and spine to press into pressure points and relieve knots in the back. Not only does it stretch out the neck but it also relieves tension in the entire upper back.I started off with short sessions of 5 minutes and gradually increased to 20 minutes. This thing is a life saver for chronic neck and back pain!
Excellent passive stretching
I have frequent tension headaches and this thing is awesome for when I need to relax. I try to spend about 10-15 minutes on it before bed and I find it really helps prevent pain.
Shoulder and neck relief are only an order away...
I’m absolutely thrilled with the ReliefRidge. Working a desk job, I’ve always had a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders. I’ve tried various remedies—massages, ergonomic chairs, stretches—you name it. However, this cervical traction device has been a game-changer for me. The first time I used it, I could literally feel the tension melting away from my neck, shoulders, and upper back. The built-in massage points are a stroke of genius, they hit just the right spots and add to the overall experience of relief and relaxation. The device is incredibly user-friendly. The detailed steps provided ensured that I could find the most comfortable position for my spine, and the tip about taking deep breaths really enhanced the relaxation effect. The design of the device naturally promotes good posture and helps align the cervical spine, which I found incredibly beneficial. Even though the guidelines suggest starting slowly and repositioning every few minutes, I found myself so comfortable that I lost track of time during my first session. What also impressed me is the product’s versatility and hygiene factors—it’s waterproof and easy to clean. At first, there was a slight ‘new product’ smell, but after washing it and letting it air out, the smell completely disappeared. I’ve been using this device consistently for a couple of weeks now, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my posture and a considerable reduction in neck strain and discomfort. I can’t recommend this product highly enough. It’s a 5-star solution for anyone in need of neck and shoulder relief.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)
a life saver!
I didn’t know I needed ReliefRidge until I bought it! It works very well for people who sleeps with their shoulders up like me I have a trouble putting down my shoulders when I sleep and every time I wake up my back and shoulders ache, so I use this for the week to see if it worked and it worked tremendously I had a little neck or back pain and that week and I am continuing to use it overalls a great product definitely recommend!
This chiropractic pillow works!! :)
As an office worker, I have been suffering neck pains, hatch back and soreness around the shoulders area for years due to bad sitting postures. After using this pillow consistently for the past two weeks, I have noticed great improvement on my neck and shoulder pain, and my chest just feels ‘open’ and the feeling is so freshly good. This chiropractic pillow works!! :)The pillow is made in very nice quality and hard enough to support my neck and spine. I have to be very honest that the first time use experience was very painful… I guess it is because of all the acupuncture massage points and the pillow curve back on my hatching back… the feeling was not pleasant at all. BUT the magic happens when I continually using it on the 3rd and 4th day… I feel my chest opens up and feeling fresh, much more relaxing, my hatch back, neck pain and shoulder pain much improved. The more I use, the more I get use to the feel of this pillow. My body simply feels lighter and lighter everyday. To use, I just lying flat on the yoga mat with this pillow. simple and easy. This pillow makes me happy, I highly recommend!
Has helped with neck pain quite a bit
I suffer from chronic neck pain. Visits to the chiropractor once every 3 weeks provide some relief, but I believe this device helps even more.I was surprised when I opened the box at how rigid the device is.Even after reading the instructions I couldn’t get my head around it.As soon as I tried it I found it comfortable.I can’t believe the pain free support I get from using it.I can’t even use a pillow behind my neck and yet this hard plastic thing feels fantastic.A few notes:One night I fell asleep on the device for about 30 minutes. The next morning I was in agony and spent the next 24 hrs on muscle relaxers.Within 48 hrs I was back to normal and feeling great. The instructions do tell you to keep adjusting your position every couple of minutes and of course while I was asleep that wasn’t happening. (Painful) lesson learned. The instructions say to place your hands beside your head.My hands and forearms immediately go numb when I do that. I fold my arms across my chest and that works for me.I use the device for 15-20 minutes at a time, usually two times a day.Every couple minutes I rotate my neck from side to side to keep it loose.I use it laying flat or semi reclined.I have not been able to get comfortable using it in a chair.Pretty much everyone is going to have a different experience when using this type of product.I will admit that if I did not receive this as a free product I never would have tried it.For the price (currently under $40 Cdn Aug 2023) I strongly recommend you give it a try.I am very glad that I did.
It's good for my injured neck
I like it! I know its firmness is necessary but I just wish it was a little bit softer so I could sleep on it all night, but I use it when I’m struggling with extreme pain and it calms the pain down a lot! Thank you 🙏🏽
Even Good for Broken Necks
I broke my neck as a preteen, and while I still have pretty much full mobility now at 33, my neck is frequently in a lot of pain and very stiff. I’ve noticed that while I’ve been using this 10-15m daily my neck has really improved and my shoulders have even gotten better as a chronic side sleeper. It’s also great for opening up the collarbone area if you’re someone like me who tends to slouch while working. My loved ones say my posture has improved!
Amazing neck pain relief tool
The tool I’ve been using to relieve neck tension has been effective and easy to use. It took a few attempts to find the proper position that didn’t cause discomfort, but once I did, I could feel the pressure points being targeted, resulting in relaxation. Overall, it’s proven to be a helpful tool for addressing neck tension.
Helpful Tension Reliever
I gave ReliefRidge a try after experiencing some tension in my neck and shoulders. Initially, I felt a bit uncomfortable adjusting to the support, but this sensation faded quickly. Finding a quiet spot, I adjusted the device, ensuring my spine was nestled between the massage points. Over several minutes, I felt tension melting away. This didn’t completely eradicate all discomfort, but it did provide noticeable relief. Re-positioning occasionally was beneficial. Starting with short sessions and building up was key for me.
Wow!
I can’t even begin to explain how good this thing feels, and its given me so much relief. You should be sure to read the instruction so you get it just right, as I had failed to do so initially and was left at a bit of a loss.If you are someone who suffers from upper back or neck problems, this just may be your solution, it feels amazing, and although it states to use it for about 10 minutes, I have often found myself not wanting to get up.It is built with fairly firm material, so its not likely to sag, or get damaged over time, and you can use it just about anywhere you can lay down!
This really works!
I have arthritis in my neck and ReliefRidge really helps stretch the neck and upper back muscles and is relaxing and comfortable. Reminds me of traction at physical therapy. Well worth the money for the relief it provides.
This item is so great, I'm thinking on buying another
At first, I was skeptical and though that it looks a little weird. Then I tried it once on the floor and OMG, what a great relaxing and relieving sensation! Then my wife found out that this is also great when watching TV on our couch! It supports our necks higher than the back of the couch and allows a relaxing posture!
Neck relaxer
After I use ReliefRidge, I literally do not want to get up. I get a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck. This is a great stretching tool without being too rough. There are stretches recommended in the box and I have been great with them. Definitely works best on a solid surface.
Tricky to position, but useful
It took me a few tries to get it positioned correctly. I finally got it in the right place by grabbing the end that sits about mid-back. Once I adjusted it, though, it was comfortable and helped alleviate an ache I had.My spouse tried it too and said, “I can’t see doing this for 10 minutes.” But I could. I got it in just the right spot and really didn’t want to get up!
It helps! :)
ReliefRidge is amazing! :)It’s not comfortable at first because it’s doing its job – releasing tense, tightened muscles. If you can handle the initial discomfort you’ll start to feel tension you didn’t even know you had release from your neck, shoulders, & spine. :)The more you use it the better the results, relief, & comfort.I’d definitely recommend it! :)
Love this
I use this daily with my denneroll from my chiropractor. If you need maintenance in between visits from a chiropractor and massage therapist this thing works pretty great. I have pretty extreme back pains and anything that can help me relieve it is a a plus in my book. The only thing I wish is that it went all the way down my spine so I could relieve all the symptoms. But all in all if I had to give this a grade I’d say it’s a A- but only cuz I want it to go down my spine more.I’ll lay on it and move my arms to feel the stretch and I’ll push up with my feet to feel it rub/push my trigger points.
Flip it and grind out your lower back
Ok on kneck but im loving it 180 degrees from its prescribed use. Work out Knotts in lower back and butt. My kneck is a bit too long for it but it does help. Worth a shot IMHO
This neck traction device works so well to help with my shoulders and neck pain
Super simple and super effective neck relaxer/traction device. I lay on it for a few minutes with my arms by my side then a few minutes with my arms up by my head and it seriously helps with my tight neck and shoulders. I use it a few minutes everyday and it has helped my back and neck from getting tight during the day.
Following instructions was vital! Went from dreading it to looking forward to it ....
Following the instructions may be essential in finding success with the ReliefRidge. When I first got the product there is no way I thought it would work. It was hard, painful to try and find the correct location, thought my back was to bony and it caused more pain trying to use it! Apparently this is common because included in the package was a yellow notecard saying, “If the device feels to hard, to soft or painful, then you are using it incorrectly — please read the instructions.” There is a little instruction booklet and one of the instructions was “Give yourself about 10 days to adapt. Start with 2 minutes per session and gradually increase the usage time.” I did not want to. But I did. It took me several times the first couple days to find the spot where it wasn’t as painful. I was trying to figure out how to ‘hit the spot’ without having to painfully locate it each time but my body seemed to suddenly start hitting the spot quicker. It went from being painful and hard to tolerate to “feeling right” and then to feeling good. I didn’t need the full 10 days before I found myself reaching for it off and on throughout the day to ease back pain. At the beginning I dreaded the thought of trying once a day for a couple minutes! It’s not a cure all by any means, but it is definitely worth giving it 10 days as now it’s helping. After the initial painful tries it amazed me how quickly it actually fell into place.
Work kinks out of the neck
I hurt my neck back in March, and while it doesn’t hurt all the time I still find it stiff to lay on my stomach with my head turned. Well I used this once after getting it and I felt a slight pop at one point while on it. That night I tried laying on my stomach and I could actually turn my head either direction with almost no discomfort! I can’t vouch for long term use or pain relief but it definitely helped my neck realign after being injured.
Feels good
When I first go this I was like there is no way that is going to be comfortable and surprise it was not!! With all that being said it takes a bit to get used to it which is probably why they say no more than 10 minutes on it. At first, I was like only about 45 seconds and I did not like the way it was feeling but I did notice that my back and neck did feel better so I endured. As time went on I was able to lay on it longer and it really does give me a great stretch.
easy to use
The ReliefRidge is a fantastic product for relieving tension and promoting relaxation. The built-in upper back massage point enhances the experience by targeting specific pressure points and further easing muscle tension. The materials used are comfortable and durable, ensuring a long-lasting and enjoyable experience. Overall, the ReliefRidge delivers a rejuvenating experience and is highly recommended for those in need of a reliable and effective relaxation tool.
Different…but it does help
It takes a little time to get used to ReliefRidge, but after you do, you will get great results
Relieve Neck and Shoulder Tension
I’ve been struggling with neck and shoulder tension for a while, and the ReliefRidge has been a lifesaver! 😌 The upper back massage point and cervical traction feature provide incredible relief, and I can feel the tension melting away after just a few minutes of use. The device is well-designed, and the chiropractic pillow provides excellent support for my neck and spine. I’ve also experienced significant TMJ pain relief using this product. The black color looks sleek and stylish, making it a great addition to my relaxation routine. Highly recommend this product for anyone seeking natural relief from neck and shoulder discomfort! 👍🖤
Hit the right pressure points
Did the trick. Nice material. When the foam roller isn’t get the job done, this might be what you are looking for.
Worked Great
This felt really nice as it helped to alleviate the pain between my shoulders. It’s a foam rubber material so it wasn’t uncomfortable to use.
Comfortable laying down but does not work in sitting position
This upper back and neck relaxer and stretcher works well laying on the ground. I used it on a yoga mat and placed it along my spine and neck… keep in mind that it takes a bit of adjusting to get it just the right spot, centered along your spine and nestled into the curve of the back of your neck. I could probably lay there all day if I didn’t have a lot of other things to do, it was so relaxing. But… I can understand if some people would find it uncomfortable, I have used it before and after my morning yoga stretch session and I can tell you, that if you are not already a bit relaxed and stretched out, it is akin to lying on a rock-strewn road. I tried it as noted in the listing in a sitting position in my office chair… NOPE, there is no way to get it in the right position and if you magically do, the first shift in your chair and it falls down. Also, you cannot get a good neck stretch from it in the sitting position because your neck is never fully supported. The device is made of a semi-solid foam-type material that looks like it will wipe up well. As far as the long-term ability to hold its shape, I would suspect that it should last a long time given the hardness of the foam… however, I cannot attest to this other than speculation (I have not had this for long). Overall, a decent way to get a good upper body stretch without a visit to the chiropractor, however, I would suggest that most people (me included) need to have a good slow and gentle yoga stretch routine prior to using this to get the most benefit from it.
Great product.
Been suffering from bad neck pain lately, tried over the counter creams but didn’t help, I then discovered ReliefRidge and wanted to give it a try, it is a lifesaver! It helped with both neck and shoulder pain and stiffness, even my head feels lighter now. It is very comfortable and very easy to use, I highly recommend it.
Very satisfied
I love ReliefRidge. It hits all of my problem spots. I don’t know yet how it effects my range of motion but I will be very happy just to have the knots I’m my muscles disappear eventually.
Relieves Tension!
ReliefRidge actually relieves neck, traps muscle tension. Maneuver around to find correct position and relax.
Nice Cervical Traction Device!
I like ReliefRidge it covers the upper back as well as the cervical neck area, it really helps relieve pain in the neck, helps realign the spine, helps stretch the cervical and realign it, It works. Great Item!
Great for neck bone spur
The wife has a mild bone spur on her neck vertebrae, so I got this to help mitigate her pain. She loves it and says it helps when she uses it every day.
Pain Relief 👍
Love ReliefRidge! It works wonderfully to stretch and pop my mid back and it provides neck/jaw tension relief. The nubs on it seem to hit the exact spots I need them too. Overall great and I would recommend!
feels amazing
I have tmj issues and have been seeing a physical therapist who says how tight my shoulders and neck are is exacerbating the issue. Got ReliefRidge to help stretch my neck out and maybe try and loosen up my muscles. not sure if it is working yet but it feels amazing.
Takes some time to adjust. Relaxing, supportive
I can see why ReliefRidge might not work for everyone. Everyone has a different body type. I love it but my husband can’t get centered and comfortable on it. He says the bumps hit at the wrong spots. It took me a week to get use to the device and to really get full benefits. The first few times I used it, I had to put it on a really hard surface (the floor) and move around to position my neck and spine in the most comfortable position. It would feel good for a moment and then one of the raised bumps would start digging in. I found that if I kept moving around too much I could never really relax. So I tried just aligning my neck and spine and relaxing taking deep breaths. Eventually what felt like irritating painful protruding bumps melted into my muscles. Not sure if you ever used those nail/spike beds but it’s kinda like that. You can’t fight the bumps just lay into them. It feels painful (irritating) at first but then it’s very relaxing. Now I can use the device on softer surfaces, in bed or in a recliner or chair with high back. I feel complete support of my neck and head. It relieves so much tension. Also I recommend using this without a shirt, bra or any tight clothing, at least the first few times. You don’t want to be encumbered by straps and tight clothes.I think the price is ok for the relief I get. It’s density is fine for me now but with frequent use I can imagine I’ll want something harder in the future. I think it’s worth a shot if you have the patience.
Helps With My Aching Back & Neck
Over the years, I’ve learned that so often, the root of so many of my aches and pains come from some sort of misalignment of my body. That’s especially true for a lot of my headaches. I’ve learned how to readjust a few things on my own, but sometimes it greatly helps with the right tools to aide in that realignment. This is such a tool. It really helps with realigning my upper back bones which also helps sooth sore muscles.Sometimes it will be somewhat painful to use. That’s often when I’m really out of shape. You do not use this for too long. Just a few minutes will do the trick. One key point is to make sure that you relax your entire body, especially the muscles along your neck and upper back. Good breathing will help. It also helps to raise your knees. Once you do that, things will fall into place. You might even hear and feel some cracking.I find this device very helpful, especially if I’ve allowed my body to fall forward too much. Reading and computer work will often do that to me. That’s when this device comes to my rescue.
Alignment help
ReliefRidge stretches and aligns the neck and upper spine. It is decently stiff for the job and the foam is comfortable enough. I go to the chiropractor once a week and this should help in between visits.
LOVE this for the neck
Truly love ReliefRidge as this is my second neck product. My first one was a very hard plastic stretcher that focused only on the neck. I like to lay on the floor with neck units and that one was too hard and left my neck sore from the pressure. Now this unit definitely works for me and covers and soothes a larger are.a It is not as dramatic while using it really relaxes the neck and feel great afterwards.Today I only used it for 10 minutes and what a difference. Its best to follow directions and raise your arms overhead and bend your knees. My upper back feels better and possibly due to the massage points on this unit.Think I will get a lot of use out of this as tend to carry tension in my neck. If you do as well recommend this product.
Good Feeling to use
It feels great,ReliefRidge is super easy to use, no smell. When I lay down and move my arms, I could feel my entire spine relaxing. The massager is comfortable and it also helps to release my back. This is a great neck and back stretcher. I love it.
Great Relaxer!
I felt relief on my neck and back first time I used it! ReliefRidge is a great product. It’s soft and comfortable for me, but firm enough to release tension in my neck and back. LOVE it and recommend.
Performs as described
I had a stiff neck for over 5 days. I remembered I had bought this product for a different neck pain, which it helped with. I used this product for 10 minutes and my neck pain was almost gone and I was able to my head.I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone with neck/back probp. It worked for me, it will work for you.
It works!
I have terrible cramping in my back and neck – primarily my upper back, shoulders and neck. I find it often starts or travels to my lower back. I sit at a computer all day and have a lot of stress and this all causes headaches that start at the base of my skull. Our new vacation home is 12 hours away and that drive usually set me back as far as my neck and back discomfort. I bought this out of desparation and it helped me survive the drive this past week. I use it on my bed for about 10 minutes as shown in the pictures provided for relief and it worked. I also used it in the car while driving as someone suggested – I used it in various positions for much of the drive and it helped to support my back on the uncomfortable car seat. I did not arrive at my destination in pain! Only complaint is that it is very hard; it would be nicer if it was just a littled more pliant or softer – especially the part that fits to your neck.
GREAT for tension headaches & low back pain
I’ve been to the chiropractor, had regular massage therapy, been a regular yogi for the past 10+ years & nothing has made the difference this thing makes for the tension headaches & low back pain & then consequently pulled back muscles. I aim for sleeping on my back (w/out a pillow) but am a side sleeper by nature, when I do I often curl up into a ball & end up shortening all the muscles on whichever side I sleep on then end up with any combination of a headache/low back pain/leg cramps, plantar fasciitis & sometimes even hand pain. This thing has been a game changer for me – I use for 10 min of so nightly to keep thing loose, but just using for 10 min when I have a tension headache starts to loosen my upper back & pectoral muscles, then I can slowly stretch out the other muscles (glutes, ham strings, arms when needed etc) for a few minutes & I’m left with the tiniest tension headache that goes away within a few hours.
I love it
I have suffered from upper back and neck issues most of my adult life. This product is a game changer for me. It gives relief to tight muscles and helps release tension. I highly recommend this to anyone with back issues.
Nice traction!
ReliefRidge is a nice device to help relax the neck and upper back. At the moment, I can’t use it due to a neck injury, but I did use it prior to the injury. It gives nice traction. I think my neck and back are too far gone to see great results simply because of my surgery history, but it did relax my neck from base of head to mid back when I could use it.
Daughter loves it
Adult daughter was complaining of neck/ shoulder, upper back pain and I was having to massage Knots out of her shoulders blades frequently. As she says when it is no longer uncomfortable to lay on this (ten minutes) ,sit up and gently twist body and her back will pop. She isn’t complaining as much and I am not massaging as much any more. Seems to hit all the pressure point to relief the knots in her back. She uses several times a week . Worth the money. Never hurts to give it a try.
Very comfortable
Not too hard. Really helping me to keep my neck & back pain under control.
It fits fine behind my back
I thought the lower part of the “massageing noddles” but I hardly notice the + neck rest alivates my neck pain
Excellent
Neck injuries lead to multi layered fusion, which remains painful and uncomfortable no matter what I do. Most importantly things get worse with activities, causing not only pain but nausea, migranes irritability, you know the drill if you have chronic issues. The day ReliefRidge came in the mail I had just driven a 90 mile round trip total about 1.5 hrs driving plus a but of a sit around. After the trip things started to lock up per usual, this time I was able to prevent the worse of it with this thing. Potentially saved me from an extended recovery just to get to a baseline level, so we’ll worth it.I picked this one due to the bit that goes under the back, which in my case is also affected by the injuries by unaltered through surgeries. It was nice over items with out it because I could pin it where i needed. At fist a close to the shoulders so I could fully relate my neck supported, then I moved it closer to the base of my skull for a bit of a stretch. I even slept on this thing for a few hours, I may like it better than most pillows I have tried.Definitely worth a strong consideration if you need some help with upper back and neck issues, even if it’s just super tight from stress this thing would have to help.
It works! Buy it now!!
I am laying on ReliefRidge for the first time as I write this review. It feels so amazing and it’s hitting all of the tender and tense areas down my spine. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. Just try it! Heaven!
Nice job

Wow!
I am very impressed with ReliefRidge. I had an injury to the upper back, neck, and shoulder a few years ago that causes me to struggle with pain and weakness. Once I positioned myself properly, I felt instant relief and I highly recommend this product.
Amazing product
I bought ReliefRidge for my mom, and she says it is truly amazing!!!!!! My mom has tremendous pain in her back and she uses it for 10 minutes and the pain goes away. She loves this.
