Knee Pain
Knee pain is when you feel discomfort in or around your knee joint. Your knee joint connects your thigh to your lower leg, where your thigh bone (femur) meets your shin bone (tibia).
The location of your knee pain depends on which part of your joint is affected:
Near the surface above or behind your knee: Often due to issues with muscles, tendons, or ligaments.
Deeper inside your knee: Usually from problems with bones or cartilage.
In multiple parts of your knee or leg: Pain can spread to other areas, like the back of your knee, lower leg, or thigh.
For knee pain relief, you can try taking a break from activities and using over-the-counter pain relievers. If the pain disrupts your routine or movement, consider consulting Dr. Olivia Patel.
